The 2020 COVID-19 Wedding

It was a challenge planning a wedding during the early stages of COVID-19. The phases would change based on the number of Covid cases in the state of Washington. One week it was Phase 2 the next week phase 3 then back to phase 2 with new restrictions. The solution was to design a wedding invite that had a dynamic website link. This helped guests know if they could come to the wedding. Due to Phase 2, a cupcake drive followed the next weekend.

Materials Used: Illustrations, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Printer and Card stock

Illustrations were based on wedding theme. Then added a link to the website for possible changes to schedule and guest list.

Simple and fun website for guests to check out the latest times and what to expect.

Guests needed to know where they could sit for social distancing purposes. Packaging for cupcakes were designed, printed and assembled for the cupcake drive through.

Based on what is going on around us in the world, we will be having two celebrations to include as many family and friends as we can.

Welcome!
Due to COVID-19 and the various fluctuations of phases, we have decided to invite our family and friends based on what phase Washington is in.
Good news is that the Seattle Temple has opened! We will be getting married on August 15th 2020 at 2:30 pm.

How it works: We will be serving box dinners with plenty of space between households. Hand sanitizers will be provided, however, we ask that you bring your own mask as supplies will be limited.
